Ever since I was a child, I knew that I would love to be a programmer. It runs in my family; my grandmother was a punchcard programmer, my dad is a software consultant, and my sister is a software engineer. So it really didn't surprise anyone when my interest in programming started.
When I was 12 years old, I created my first large-scale project. Like most children, I was super into playing video games, and when I learned that I could make my own, I was eager to get started. I created a simple snake-like game in Java where players would move around the screen, dodging different enemies. My interest in programming only grew deeper as I got older.
In high school, I was abl e to follow my passion even deeper. I was able to take multiple courses to learn even more about programming. I took classes that taught me the basics of software development and other programming languages (Python and C++).
Currently, I am a student at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). I am graduating in the Spring 2026 semester with a B. S. in computer science. I have excelled in my studies at FIT, making it onto the Dean's List. While not studying, I like playing video games, reading, listening to music, and working on my programming projects.
